Meaning

 

(1) Meaning here is an exploration away from causal paradigms. Instead of looking for a rational explanation of an event, we look for significants and purpose. Instead of asking what caused something to happen; we ask 'what happened?' This reorientation away from cause and effect is reflected in modern physics which looks more for connections than explanations based on 'natural laws'. (Jung, 1964)
