Psyche

(1) Psyche means soul, and here the term is used to describe everything that is conscious--what we 'think' and what we 'think we think'--and everything that is unconscious or unknown in an individual. In other words, psyche is the entirety of the non-corporeal aspects of a being. (Schuler, 1997)
